ARGON Gyrocopters for Sale
The full ARGON range, its published prices, and where each aircraft stands for UK registration
Gyrocopters for sale in the UK
We sell three ARGON models in the United Kingdom, new and built to order by Manufaktura Lotnicza in Poland: the ARGON 915 iS from £125,000, the ARGON GTL from £165,000, and the three-seat GTL Triple on application. Prices exclude taxes and delivery, and each model sits at a different point on the road to UK registration - which is the column that matters most before you order.
| Aircraft | Seats | From | Where it stands in the UK |
|---|---|---|---|
| ARGON GTL | 2 | £165,000 | Type-certified in Germany, Poland, France, India, Turkey and Georgia. BCAR-T certification in progress - taking orders now. |
| ARGON 915 iS | 2 | £125,000 | UK certification comes later in the programme, so we register interest rather than take orders - and enough interest moves it forward. |
| ARGON GTL Triple | 3 | On application | At 700 kg it sits above the 600 kg BCAR-T threshold, so the route here is the National Permit to Fly - private flying, not commercial. |
Prices exclude taxes and delivery. We also sell the ARGO AH helicopters - two seats, from £220,000, and not yet certified here.

Every ARGON is hand-built to order - around 1,000 hours of craftsmanship per aircraft, with the precision, finish and colours you would expect from an Italian supercar. You do not buy one off the shelf: you specify it, and the manufacture builds it for you.
Type-certified in Germany, Poland, France, India, Turkey and Georgia - and now CAA Factory Approved in the United Kingdom.
ARGON GTL - the Grand Turismo gyroplane
Sit in one and the argument is over. The GTL has the roomiest cabin in the ARGON range - far more room than the classic ARGON, the single thing that sets it apart, and the reason people who have flown other gyros stop comparing spec sheets. Two adults, shoulders clear of each other, with a full cubic metre of luggage space behind: golf clubs, skis, a surfboard or proper suitcases travel with you rather than staying home.
The first true Grand Turismo gyroplane, and built to the numbers that make real journeys possible: 600 kg maximum takeoff weight, a 130-litre tank for up to 5 hours in the air, and up to 620 miles of range with external tanks. Powered by the ROTAX 915 iS (141 hp) or 916 iS (160 hp) with a 5-year engine warranty, and equipped with a CO2 inflatable water rescue system.

Photographs flatten a cabin, so here is the aircraft itself - a full walkaround of a finished GTL at golden hour, outside and in: the profile, the nose, the tail, the engine bay, the glass cockpit and the leather interior. Stay to the end and someone walks into frame, which is when the size of the thing lands. Press play.
From £165,000 excluding taxes and delivery, depending on configuration. The GTL is the model completing UK BCAR-T certification and the model we are taking UK orders for.
What that figure buys, what moves it, and what the GTL costs per flying hour is set out in the full price breakdown.
Also in the range
The ARGON 915 iS is the lighter, more agile two-seater in the family - a monocoque carbon fibre cabin, a Garmin G3X glass cockpit and a 150-170 km/h cruise, from £125,000. Its UK certification follows the GTL and the ARGO AH helicopter, so we are registering interest in it rather than taking orders today. Interest is what sets that order: enough of it and we move the 915 iS forward for certification. Tell us if it is the machine you want - it goes on the list, and the list is what decides which aircraft we certify next.
Colours worthy of a supercar
The factory palette is inspired by the great sports cars - deep metallics and racing shades, applied with automotive-grade finish:
- Arctic White
- Soul Red
- Racing Blue
- Poison Green
- Metallic Green
- Deep Green / Gold
- Triple Laguna Metallic
- Shark Blue
- Black / Silver Metallic
Your aircraft, your colour - any of these, or a custom shade specified for your build.
How ordering works
You will not find a final price tag on an aircraft like this - it is built for you. Specify your ARGON in the manufacturer's 3D configurator or contact us directly. As the official UK dealer - listed as such by the factory - we will guide you through the configuration, quote the final price for your specification, and handle the order with the factory. See also our design & customisation service.
Argo Aero is currently undergoing certification to operate in the United Kingdom and provide its services in its full range.
Worth reading before you buy
The questions buyers actually ask, answered at length rather than in a specification table:
- The ARGON GTL in depth - what a 600 kg gyroplane with a cubic metre of luggage space is actually for.
- What a gyrocopter costs to buy and run - new against used, and the running costs nobody quotes up front.
- The best gyrocopter to buy - the Cavalon and the Magni M24 set against our own GTL, on each manufacturer's published figures.
- Buying a used gyrocopter in the UK - what the second-hand market actually holds, and what to check before parting with the money.
- Gyrocopter versus helicopter - the honest comparison, including what a gyro cannot do.
- How long it can stay in the air - five hours and 470 miles, worked out of the flight manual, and the planning figure to use instead.
- What fuel it takes - ordinary unleaded, not avgas, and the one thing to watch at a British pump.
- Are gyrocopters safe? - autorotation, why they cannot stall or spin, and how they behave in gusts.
- What BCAR-T certification means - the standard the GTL is completing, and why it matters to a UK buyer.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a gyrocopter cost in the UK?
A new ARGON GTL starts from £165,000 excluding taxes and delivery, and it is the model we are taking UK orders for. The lighter ARGON 915 iS starts from £125,000; its UK certification comes later in the programme, so we are registering interest in it rather than taking orders - and enough interest moves it forward for certification. Every aircraft is built to order, so the final price depends on your configuration.
Do you sell used gyrocopters?
Yes, and they usually come out of our own training fleet. A student who has flown their hours in one of our ARGONs already knows that particular aircraft - how many hours it has done, how it handles and how it has been looked after - so buying the machine you learned on is often the natural step after the licence. Ask us what is due to come out of training.
Can I customise my gyrocopter?
Yes. Every ARGON is hand-built to your specification: exterior colour, interior, glass cockpit and avionics, engine and propeller, rotor and undercarriage. Use the manufacturer's 3D configurator or contact Argo Aero to specify your aircraft.
What warranty comes with an ARGON gyrocopter?
The ROTAX engine comes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty with worldwide coverage. As the official UK dealer, Argo Aero provides servicing with genuine spare parts and manufacturer technical support.
Where are ARGON gyrocopters made?
ARGON gyrocopters are designed and manufactured in Europe by Manufaktura Lotnicza, a full-cycle manufacturer producing its own rotors and titanium components in-house. Each aircraft takes around 1,000 hours of handcrafted work.
