Basics of your gyrocopters maintenance responsibilities
Regular gyrocopters maintenance is crucial for its performance and pilot safety. According to the Civil Aviation Authority requirements, as an owner of the aircraft, you must arrange its diagnostics and servicing at least once every 12 months.
The gyrocopters maintenance must include the following tasks:
- Structural inspection for the rotor blades, fasteners, bolts, and other structural components
- Engine, cooling, and exhaust systems inspection
- Control system inspection and testing control surfaces operating
