Argo Aero is an official UK dealer of Manufaktura Lotnicza, the Polish manufacturer that designs and builds the ARGON gyroplanes and the ARGO AH helicopters at its own airfield near Warsaw - who builds the ARGON covers the factory itself. We are based in London and work with customers across the United Kingdom.

How the manufacturer got here
Manufaktura Lotnicza began designing and building gyrocopters and helicopters in 2009. Most components were made in-house from the start - but not the rotors, which were bought in.
That became the bottleneck. A rotor is the one component a gyroplane cannot compromise on, and depending on someone else to make it constrained both quality and schedule. The engineering team spent years designing their own and building the production line for it, and in 2018 rotor manufacture came in-house - which is what makes Manufaktura Lotnicza a full-cycle manufacturer rather than an assembler.
Where that has led in the UK: CAA A8-21 Factory Approval for the factory, and the ARGON range at AERO Friedrichshafen, the industry show where the rest of general aviation gathers.
What Manufaktura Lotnicza is valued for
The great value of Manufaktura Lotnicza lies in their deep commitment to innovation and flight safety. The team works hard to engineer and manufacture gyroplanes that appeal to both professional and amateur pilots.
In manufacturing, the company uses titanium component production - still uncommon in Europe - including for rotor parts. In engineering, it keeps pace with the industry rather than settling on a design and leaving it there.
As a result of this commitment, in 2019, they redesigned their gyros, considering molds, engineering structure, and fabrics.
Key divisions that contribute to the Company’s value
Manufaktura Lotnicza managed to build an organizational structure that enables them to comply with client needs and pace in line with the progress in the aeronautical industry. With four key divisions in its structure:
- Design and Manufacturing (D&M)
- Innovation and Research (I&R)
- Servicing
- Training
The first two divisions focus on engineering and technology. The D&M Division is in charge of aircraft design and production. The I&R Division contributes to aircraft performance and safety through its ongoing R&D activities within the material and system upgrade domain.
The last two divisions focus on client needs and servicing. The Servicing Division is in charge of aircraft maintenance and repairs. The mission of the Training Division is to provide clients with basic knowledge about gyro piloting.
