The dynamic, fuel-injected ROTAX 915 iS produces 141 hp with what ROTAX rates as the best power-to-weight ratio in its class, full takeoff power and a service ceiling of up to 23,000 feet - an engine rating, not the aircraft's ceiling - with the turbocharged 160 hp ROTAX 916 iS available as an option. Both carry a 5-year worldwide manufacturer warranty.
Stability - the key to safety
The ARGON 915 has twice the ground clearance of other gyros, and a wider wheelbase for far more stability when taking off and landing on grass or a random landing pad. In the air, a much wider stabilizer - its height aligned directly with the centreline of the propeller's thrust - keeps it planted, and the hand-made carbon and Kevlar rotors by ROTOR-TECH, the manufacturer's own rotor department, come as standard.
Engineered in-house, documented online
Manufaktura Lotnicza is a full-cycle manufacturer: every ARGON is digitized down to the part in the Electronic Parts Catalog (ERM), integrated with the online spare-parts store and the Customer Panel - the same standard of engineering documentation you expect from a certified aircraft.

In the United Kingdom, certification proceeds model by model: Manufaktura Lotnicza holds CAA A8-21 Factory Approval, and the ARGON GTL is completing its BCAR-T certification first and is the model we are taking UK orders for, followed by the ARGO AH helicopter - UK certification of the ARGON 915 iS will begin once those are complete. The helicopter is certified to Certificate of Airworthiness standards rather than to BCAR-T, so it is an approval in its own right rather than an extension of the gyroplane one.
